Many people say that traveling to Vashon is like stepping back in time 20 years. The town is cute, the forests are brimming with nature. Find little lizards on the trails, expect a deer to cross your path, and listen to the raven’s language.
Without even leaving the cabin, expect to see raccoons, deer, eagles, osprey, herons, otters, seals, sea lions, and if you’re lucky porpoises and whales!

Vashon is an easygoing, self-guided community- not your typical "tourist" town. Locals take to the forests for hiking, visit the wineries for tasting, pop in to the Lavender Farm for their fantastic U-Pick and seasonal store, frequents the Vashon Center for the Arts for world-class shows and exhibits, and rent kayaks and e-bikes from Vashon Adventures.
